THE PANAMA-PACIFIC EXPO WORLD'S FAIR WAS HELD IN SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA IN 1915, AND CELEBRATED THE COMPLETION OF THE PANAMA CANAL AND THE RECOVERY OF SAN FRANCISCO FROM THE EARTHQUAKE OF 1906.

THE ONLY SURVIVING BUILDING IS THE PALACE OF FINE ARTS, A MEMORABLE SAN FRANCISCO LANDMARK, THAT CAN BE SEEN AS A LOCALE IN MANY MOTION PICTURES.
